In this award-winning design, the kitchen was integrated into the home's adjacent rooms to facilitate entertaining while maintaining its eat-in functionality. The sight lines to the living and dining rooms were opened up, improving the flow for frequent entertaining of larger groups.

The kitchen design allowed for more counter space, drawers, storage and innovative accessories. This project is a perfect example of how to use a limited budget effectively, creating a major impact but with scaled-back choices in cabinetry, countertop and flooring.
